Asas means foundation.

Why this exists

For six years I built and ran the pages that a catalogue business lives on: fourteen-thousand-SKU stores on WordPress and Shopify, seasonal campaign pages, wholesale portals, corporate site portfolios. Every one of them started the same way — open a template, delete its colours, delete its stock photography, delete half its widgets, and only then find out whether the page underneath said anything.

Every builder I know does the same thing, in the same order, on every project. The template libraries were selling us decoration when what we needed was structure. Webflow designers had already solved this with wireframe-first component libraries. Elementor, with a far larger install base, had nothing of the kind.

So I drew the structure. Every block in ASAS is a real Elementor template — containers, widgets, spacing, responsive rules — rendered in neutral grey and captured in a real browser, so what you see on the card is exactly what imports. Then I built a studio to stack the blocks into a page, colour them with one kit, and hand you a native Elementor file. The library is free because a foundation is not where the toll booth goes.

Principles

• Grey is a decision. The first thing you judge should be the page, not the palette.
• Real, not representative. Every card is a capture of the rendered template. No illustrations of blocks.
• Native or nothing. Exports are Elementor's own JSON. No wrapper plugin, no lock-in, and the Studio never asks for access to your site.
• Named, not numbered. A block gets one Arabic word for its one move, with the English beside it. Raqiq is easier to find again than Hero 133.
• Two languages, one house. ASAS is built by a bilingual builder for a bilingual market. Arabic pages export right-to-left, not mirrored after the fact.
• Growing in the open. Blocks get redrawn and renamed. What you have already downloaded is yours and unaffected.

The name

أساس — asas — is Arabic for foundation, base, the thing a building stands on. The rooms of the library carry the same idea: Madkhal the entrance, Wajha the façade, Khatima the close. You do not need to read Arabic to use any of it; every name has its English beside it and the search understands both.

ASAS is made by one person and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Elementor Ltd. Elementor and Elementor Pro are their trademarks and their software, with their own terms. The glyphs in the library are Font Awesome Free, which Elementor already ships, under its own licence.
