How to choose galleries & portfolios
Twelve equal thumbnails ask the visitor to do the editing. The galleries that work give one image room to be the first thing seen, and let the rest support it.
An uneven grid — for photographers, interiors and products, where one hero image sets the tone and smaller ones fill in detail.
Project cards with titles — for agencies, architects and studios, where each image is a case study the visitor may want to open.
A carousel — for a long series of similar images — rooms, venues, before-and-after — where browsing is the point and space is short.
What is inside the block
A Maarad block is a container of inner containers, each holding an image widget with an optional heading and link, or Elementor’s free image carousel for the sliding versions. Replace the placeholders from your media library; the crop is set on the container, so every image lands in its frame.
Import into Elementor
- Download the block (or your whole stacked page) from the Studio as a
.jsonfile. - In WordPress go to Templates → Saved Templates and click Import Templates.
- Choose the file. It appears under Saved Templates with its ASAS name.
- Open any page in Elementor, click the folder icon, choose My Templates, and insert it.

Can each image open larger?
Yes. Set the image widget’s link to “Media File” and Elementor’s built-in lightbox opens it full size, with no add-on.
Is this a filterable portfolio?
No. These are fixed layouts using core widgets. A filterable portfolio needs Elementor Pro’s Portfolio widget or a loop grid; the tiles here are the visual starting point for either.
Are these templates free?
Yes. Browsing, stacking and colouring need no account. Downloading the Elementor JSON needs a free account — a name, an email and a password, no card.
Do I need Elementor Pro?
Most blocks use core Elementor widgets only. Where a block uses a Pro widget, the Studio names it before you download, because Elementor silently drops widgets it doesn’t have on import.
How do I import a block into Elementor?
Download the .json file, open Templates → Saved Templates in WordPress, click Import Templates, choose the file, then insert it on any page from the editor’s template library.
